The QLinQ is the first affordable fully functional mobile with integrated GPS technology. Through various service scenarios the QLinQ can be used for a wide range of target groups.
The QLinQ has been exclusively developed by SafeLinQ and uses proprietary protocols. It will only operate in conjunc-tion with the SafeLinQ service. You can use the SafeLinQ service via the ‘out of the box’ web solution or through an API.
The QLinQ primarily transmits its location information to the SafeLinQ service using GPRS but can fall back on text messaging when in areas of poor GPRS coverage. As the QLinQ is a GSM quad band device, it will operate in most parts of the world.

Fully functional mobile phone
The QLinQ can either be used as a fully functional mobile phone or alternatively can be programmed to only dial up to nine predefined numbers. |
Remote assistance
In case of emergencies the emergency centre is able to remotely activate a voice connection and switch on the speaker to communicate with the user. |
Emergency button
Pressing the two emergency buttons simultaneously will contact a predefined number, and send location information to the emergency centre. |
Track and trace via GPS
GPSUsing the GPS functionality you can receive the location of your QLinQ with an accuracy of up to 5 metres. |
Fixed Time Reporting
Set service start/end time and tracking interval (cycles) and the QlinQ automatically reports its position to the SafeLinQ platform.
Motion sensor/alerts
QLinQ is equipped with a motion sensor, which immediately alerts in case of a ‘man down’ situation.
Geo-fencing
The possibility to create and modify 9 Safety Zones (both in and out zone alerts).
Programmable buttons
Ability to program up to nine speed dial numbers through the secure website.
Speed Sensor/alerts
Sends out alert information when activated and speed threshold is met.
Power Status
Sends out alert information when the QLinQ is switched on or off and when the battery power is low or charging.
